"Every child should have mud pies, grasshoppers, waterbugs, tadpoles, frogs & turtles, elderberries, wild strawberries, acorns, hickory nuts, trees to climb, animals to pet, hayfields, pine cones, rocks to roll, sand, snakes, huckleberries and hornets – and any child who has been deprived of these has been deprived of the best part of his education." -Luther Burbank 1849 - 1926

Outdoor Lighting Decor

Outdoor Portable Lighting Collection, "Outdoor Decor"

Quoizel, designers and distributors of decorative lighting, is introducing an Outdoor Decor collection. This product line offers weatherproof outdoor portable lighting in 12 different styles. It is ideal for decks, porches, sunrooms and patios.

Design is usually better if real problems are investigated with real people. Quoizel did their homework. "We've done extensive market research on this collection," states Quoizel Director of Design John Howard. "For this new line we not only used focus groups, we also worked with top outdoor living consultants to ensure we created lighting with strong consumer appeal. We expect the products we've chosen for this launch to be extremely well-received."

Portable outdoor lighting extends the day for outdoor enjoyment. Short winter days can be extended to cooking on the patio, be it ever so cold. But long, languid spring, summer and fall evenings can be extended way into the night to take advantage of evening breezes and the bustle of nightlife in the wild. With a bit of light for comfort and conversation, it's relaxing to enjoy a tall cold drink, watch the moths and bats and raccoons and critters of the night play and scurry about in pursuit of their daily food. Portable lighting can be a good option to maximize use of your outdoor living room and keep the costs of permanent construction in check.

Included in Quoizel's collection are tabletop and floor lamps, which all feature wind-resistant, weighted bases. They are made of marine-grade resin and topped with a tough, long-lasting finish coat. The shades are made of weather-resistant fabrics, and all products are UL listed.
